Rival baseball teams of the juvenile variety meet up for trash talk - quickly degenerating into a back and forth between Ham (Patrick Renna) and Phillips (Wil Horneff) that culminates in an agreement to play each other once Ham crosses the line with the worst insult a pre-teen boy could give in 1962.
The Case for Campfire Tales:
Setting the tone, and providing a handy bit of exposition, this opening scene of The Fog is a perfect way to start this tribute to old-time ghost stories: A group of children gathered around a campfire hearing of a tragedy that alludes to - but doesn't reveal - the reason that the fog comes rolling in....
