Fugue for Tinhorns
(Guys and Dolls)
The Case for You Play Ball Like a Girl! (3):
Rival baseball teams of the juvenile variety meet up for trash talk - quickly degenerating into a back and forth between Ham (Patrick Renna) and Phillips (Wil Horneff) that culminates in an agreement to play each other once Ham crosses the line with the worst insult a pre-teen boy could give in 1962.
The Case for Fugue for Tinhorns:
In this early number, Nicely-Nicely Johnson, Benny Southstreet, and Rusty Charlie (Stubby Kaye, Johnny Silver, and Danny Dayton) each sing the praises of their selected horse in that days races, weaving in and out during the lyrics, and ending in harmony with one another.
The Score: You Play Ball Like a Girl! 7, Fugue for Tinhorns 4
