The Case for What Are You Waiting For?:
A teenager won a contest to direct a scene in the movie and this is the end result. While the actors thought it was ridiculous at the time, it ended up becoming one of the most iconic scenes of the movie.
The Case for Transformation:
Makeup artist Rick Baker won the inaugural Best Makeup Academy Award for what he accomplished in this scene: an impressive and painful transformation into a werewolf.
